Artist 1 - Josef Müller-Brockmann

I have been looking a lot at this artists work and it seems like he has a typography style coming out in his work
He uses words to speak the things the images cant and he integrates the words with the images .

This has the typical typography style ,
He was a swiss Graphic Designer and teacher . He studied Architecture. Design , and history or art

From what i have learnt about Josephs work is that his typography is not just that he uses Grids from his architectural designs to act as a support for the typography work , so that they can take shape from that , its a very clever way of doing things .

This is another example , at first i thought that there was no connection between architecture and typography then i realised that indeed there is quite a lot of connection between them , it was really interesting to find out .

As a student that is studying typography you need to be in tune with quite a lot of architecture plans so that the words can balance on it using the grids as a crutch as it were
