Own Topic -Isotypes

This is the reason i waned to get into graphic design , i love isotopes , the reality of using a simplified image to help people less able to speak and communicate , to communicate to the public , i want to be the one designing these and to develop new simplified images .
I first developed the passion in the foundation year at uni , when we did graphic design , we were told to re tell the stories of little red riding hood , and goldilocks in isotope form , i had to research different symbols to tell the story , and i really did enjoy it , then again in the book project module at uni , we had to retell the story in images that we found in the newspaper and you get an idea of using these images next to other ones to create a totally new meaning , and it really interesting to see a story come to light with out the use of words .
Below are some images of my final year project , where i made a bag with isotopes sewed onto it , so that kids or adults with communication problems communicate how they feel with a bag .
